June 2004: Van Rooy continues to grow as we add six new properties in the Kansas City market: Evergreen Apartments, Crossroads of Lee's Summit, Antioch Woods, Barclay Club, Sedona Point and Fieldstone Apartments.

May 2004: Sandstone Court, a community in Greenwood, Indiana is added to the Van Rooy portfolio. This new acquisition will be seeing many changes over the coming months, including a complete facelift.

April 2004: Van Rooy Properties is pleased to announce the addition of five new communities in Michigan; Four Seasons, Huron Heights, Huron Ridge, The Landings and Stratford Place.

March 2004: In October of 2003, Van Rooy Properties added to its portfolio properties in Kokomo, Westfield and Carmel. Already, Walnut Creek Apartments, Hamilton Square Apartments and Stonegate Apartments have cumulatively increased their occupancy to greater than 95%.

March 2004: On March 17, Van Rooy employees celebrated St. Patrick's Day in style at the 13th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade through the streets of downtown Indianapolis. March 2004: Congratulations to Lora Johnson, Community Program Director, nominee for the "Spirit of Women" award from St. Francis Hospital.

December 2003: To kick off the Holiday season, Van Rooy employees assisted with the Annual Shelter Health Fair at The Horizon House. Our group of employees helped register homeless neighbors for medical services, checked visitors out after their visit and handed out gloves and hats to each person. During the four hours that Van Rooy employees volunteered, 150 people received medical services.

Van Rooy employees also joined the United Christmas Service to provide a much needed Christmas celebration for three area families in need.


November 2003: Congratulations to Lora Johnson, winner of the 2003 Prodigy Awards, "Best Community Service Program". Through Lora's outstanding efforts, many Van Rooy residents in need of assistance were connected with area organizations and programs such as the Domestic Violence Network and Transitional Life Connections.

September 2003: Van Rooy Properties becomes a Clarian Health partner
- all Clarian Health employees receive a 5% discount at all Van Rooy properties.


September 2003: Van Rooy has joined hands with "Keep Indianapolis Beautiful"
Our employees will be helping to rehabilitate a downtown home.
